Seven Months Old
Kaylee is officially a seven month old! It's so hard to believe so much time has flown by. In Kaylee's 7th month she was cleared for any issues with her hips! Just little rolls of baby fat. So all is happy there. She also celebrated her first Easter! She also enjoyed a trip to San Diego again and had a good time in the sand at the beach.

Six Months Old
17lbs and 27.5" long.Kaylee Lynn is six months old today. She's a growing happy girl... except at the doctor's office. She's not a fan of shots or even the building. She is a healthy tall and skinny girl. While at the doctor Kaylee received her first x-ray today to check her hips. Doctor's were concerned that the creases in her legs were uneven and so they wanted to make sure that everything was a-ok with her hips. It was another procedure that she was NOT a fan of. Mom and Dad will learn in a week what is going on with that.
Mobility is well on its way for Kaylee. To date she is rolling from front to back and from back to front and crawling is on the horizon; she is also starting to pull herself up with her hands so it's only a matter of time before mom and dad start to get a workout from a mobile tot! :) She's adorable and her auntie is dying to meet her!

5 months old

Rolling Over
Kaylee is four and a half months old and guess who is rolling over from back to front? Yep little Kaylee spent nearly an hour last night rolling onto her belly over and over until she got tired. Mom recorded on the cell phone, hence the low light - but still adorable and listen to her chattering away. She's too cute.
Kaylee's cousin Aiden rolled over at almost the same time. Kaylee beat him though by a few days. :)

Guess Who Met Santa?
Yep that's right! Little three month old Kaylee met Santa! Yes, everyone's favorite little girl met the everyone's favorite jolly ol' man. :) While she wasn't thrilled she wasn't terrified. ;-) Merry Christmas, everyone!

Grandma and Kaylee
The little girl is home and is a Californian now and is being hugged and squeezed by both grandmas as often as possible. :) Here she is with Grandma Sharlyn less than a week before she turns 3 months old.
Thanksgiving
Kaylee celebrated her second holiday and had four days filled with festivities. She celebrated Thanksgiving Day with her parents and Jen's parents and then on Saturday ventured down to San Diego to visit her Great Aunt, Great Uncle, and a few extra special people. She is so loved.

Two Months Old
Kaylee is nearly 2 months old! She just recently has been fighting a cold and just today ventured to the doctor for her 2 month appointment and shots! Kaylee got 3 shots today and didn't cry as much as expected and the nurses were even impressed! She's a trooper.
So she's 's tall and skinny. We can't imagine who she got that from ;-) Keep the family in your prayers. They leave North Dakota on Friday for good!

Happy Halloween!
Kaylee is nearly seven weeks old and is rapidly approaching her first holiday! Halloween! Since Mom and Dad will be without Internet on the big day, as they are packing up their lives and heading back to California for good! Yipee! They decided to dress Kaylee up for everyone to see early. She is an absolute doll and you can see more and more of her growing and changing. Look at the little smile and she already has such a personality!

Blue Eyes
Kaylee is fast approaching a month old, can anyone believe it? Our little blue eyed favorite girl and her mommy went to their respective doctor's recently and were both given a good report. Kaylee now weighs 10lbs 3oz. Kaylee is sleeping in about 4 hour stretches, which is pleasing to her mommy. Derek's paternity leave is up and he is back to work, but working normal hours so that Jennifer isn't alone 12 hours at a time. That's life for those in North Dakota!

Welcome Home!
Welcome home, Kaylee! Kaylee is doing wonderfully and was able to come home today - and moments ago she celebrated her one week birthday. Yes Kaylee Lynn has been in our world for seven days. The doctor's have given her a clean bill of health and released her today into her mommy and daddy's care. She currently weighs 9lbs 14oz. Mommy is recovering nicely, but still isn't up to sitting for long periods in front of a computer, so Auntie continues to update the blog. Jen is able to do more things and is feel better with each day that passes. I'm told there will be new family photos tomorrow, and for today here are a few pictures of little Kaylee sleeping in her own bed.
